I am weak, there's no guessing in that.
The enemy knowing this as well, would say
"you look foolish"
"people would probably look down upon you"
"because of your weakness, you'll be taken advantage of"
and all those lies.
But that's not what Jesus says. Jesus knows I am weak, and it's the truth.
He tells me
"I use the foolish the shame the wise of this word"
"Your worth to me is great enough for me to die for you"
"I am your shepherd, recognize only my voice"
"I have prepared a feast for you in the presence of your enemy"
and all that truth
Truth sets us free.
Free from the bondage of the lies of devil.
Free from the sins of men.
Free from curses.
Free from death.
I wasn't justified because I do good.
because I'm wise.
because I act in a way that is blameless in others' eyes.
none of that
I am justified by what He has sacrificed
and no one can tell me that's not enough.
So the devil can accuse me of my weaknesses
and at the same time I will boast in my Lord
because my weakness is what made His love is great
that me, so undeserving
He would lay down His life
so I could be in His glory
The more you accuse me
of my weakness and my flesh
the more God's grace for me is evident
How worthy is the lamb!
and my worth is in the lamb!
1 Corinthians 1:26-31
26 Brothers and sisters, think of what you were when you were called. Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; not many were of noble birth. 27 But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. 28 God chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things—and the things that are not —to nullify the things that are, 29 so that no one may boast before him. 30 It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God—that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption. 31 Therefore, as it is written: “Let the one who boasts boast in the Lord.”[d]
